This policy explains what happens to the details you share with Vyapiq through this website (vyapiq.in), and how the Vyapiq software handles the data that businesses and their customers put into it, including WhatsApp messages. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we are

Vyapiq is owned and operated by ASR Ventures, a micro enterprise registered under the Government of India's Udyam scheme (Udyam Reg. No. UDYAM-HR-01-0074019). ASR Ventures is responsible for the details described in this policy.

What we collect

When you request a demo, we receive the details you type into the form:

• Your name and company name
• Your mobile or WhatsApp number
• Your email address, if you give it
• Your team size and message, if you give them

If you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we receive what you send us there.

Why we use it

Only to contact you about your demo request and to answer your questions about Vyapiq. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone for their own marketing.

How it reaches us

Demo requests are delivered to our email through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service. Our email runs on Google Workspace. Both services store data on their own secure servers.

WhatsApp and Meta

If you message us on WhatsApp, your messages, phone number and WhatsApp profile name are handled through WhatsApp, a service of Meta Platforms. Meta processes that data under its own terms and privacy policy. We use WhatsApp only to reply to you and to send you information you have asked for, such as demo details or quotations. We do not send promotional WhatsApp messages unless you have agreed to receive them, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while we are in conversation with you, and for up to two years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

The Vyapiq software

Businesses (our customers) use the Vyapiq software to manage their sales and operations. When a business connects its WhatsApp Business number to Vyapiq, the software receives and sends that business's WhatsApp messages through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API).

What the software stores:

• The business's account: company name, and the names, email addresses and roles of its team members
• Its customers' details: name, phone number, WhatsApp profile name, company and city, as received on WhatsApp or entered by the team
• WhatsApp messages sent and received on the connected number, with their delivery status
• Leads, notes, follow-ups and other records the team creates
• A log of who changed what, for the business's own security

Who controls this data. Each business owns the data it puts into Vyapiq and decides how its customers' details are used. We process that data only on the business's behalf, only to provide the software, and we never sell it or use it for our own marketing. Each business's data is kept separate from every other business's.

Personal numbers stay out. A business can mark numbers as personal, such as family and friends. Messages from those numbers are not stored in Vyapiq.

Where it is stored. The software's database runs on Supabase and the application on Vercel, both in Mumbai, India. Sign-in and notification emails are sent through Resend. WhatsApp messages pass through Meta, which processes them under its own terms. Access tokens for WhatsApp are stored encrypted and are never shown in the app.

How long it is kept. Data is kept while the business uses Vyapiq. When a business closes its account, its data is deleted within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.

How to delete your data

You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time. Deletion is free. These steps are also on their own page: Delete your data.

• If you are a business using Vyapiq: email info@vyapiq.in from your account's owner email, with your company name, and say "Delete my data". We delete your company's account, team members, customer records and WhatsApp messages within 30 days, and confirm by email. You can also disconnect your WhatsApp number from Vyapiq at any time in Meta Business Suite.
• If you messaged a business that uses Vyapiq: ask that business to delete your details, or email info@vyapiq.in with your WhatsApp number and the business's name. We pass your request to the business and help it delete your details within 30 days.
• If you contacted us through this website: email info@vyapiq.in and we delete your details within 30 days.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email info@vyapiq.in and we will act on your request within 30 days.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or complaint about how your data is handled, contact the Grievance Officer, ASR Ventures, by email at info@vyapiq.in or by post at 2035, Sethi Enclave, Baldev Nagar, Ambala, Haryana 134007, India. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
